Madonna, The Queen of Pop's Sticky &
Sweet tour comes to Cardiff on the 23rd of August 2008,
the venue? The Millenium Stadium, of course..
Madonna - 25 years at the top.
Madonna, from the 'Virgin' girl to the undisputed Queen
of popular music. Now 50 she is still incredibly sexy
and still making hit records and not just because of
her superstar status, but because the music is still
very, very good. In my opinion, songs such as 'Vogue'
and 'Like A Virgin' are now to be considered a classic
and my definition of a classic is a song I can listen
to time and time again and, not only do I never get
tired of listening to the song, but I sing along and
actually get the words right!.
Cardiff offers Madonna a very warm welcome and it is
an honour that Cardiff has been chosen to launch the
Sticky & Sweet tour. Thank you, Madonna.
