Cardiff's first lady, Charlotte Church international superstar - it sounds like I'm introducing an Austin Powers movie ;-) - is expecting her second child with father and rugby-legend-inwaiting Gavin 'The Mighty' Henson. I'm a huge fan of both and would like to wish them a sincere and heart-felt congratulations and offer my very best wishes for their ever growing family. Cardiff is very lucky to have two such celebrated and deserving citizens.

Since Charlotte Church was very young she has been headline news around the world. In my opinion she has handled the enormous pressure of the under-the-microscope attention extraordinarily well. Very few people get to experience the level of media frenzy that surrounds her, but too many break under that pressure, with Britney Spears being the latest casualty. Now Charlotte shares the intense glare of the spotlight with Welsh rugby star Gavin Henson and as Wales's premier golden couple they have remained true to themselves, true to Wales and are a wonderful feather-in-the-cap for Cardiff. Last year Charlotte gave birth to Ruby and now the couple are expecting their second child. Apparently, Gavin is hoping that Charlotte produces a rugby team over the next few years, whilst our Charl would settle for a pop group to rival Girls Aloud! Okay, just a little joke... ;-)
